Corpus Principium is a study of the language of non-being. It exists to serve but one purpose & that is to reach deeply into archetypes that are fluent in this language. This study comprises of a stream of unconscious energy that is wholly subjective and sensual in nature. Aesthetic concerns notwithstanding, the message conveyed and enacted in this art is an intimate portrayal of individual revelation. All of the goddesses depicted here are of an obscure nature because it is they who chose to reveal themselves as such. Everything is subjective, relative and fallible. It is in the music of Corpus Principium that the goddesses of Marble Wounds have a voice to be heard. These goddesses are shells and aspects of incompleteness found in human nature and in our limited understanding of reality and the cosmos. They are beyond gender, yet they are visualized in a feminine form. This serves to solidify in the conscious mind the power and beauty of the underlying message; namely that eternity needs no voice or physical form to validate consciousness (human or no). The Self is all that there is. "Old Souls" is a recollection of perceived lives and personas as well. Each song represents in a way a form of dreaming photography. Pictures, if you will, existing in capsules of eroding time. There are many keys and many angles that the listener is invited to open themselves to. The door that you choose to unlock is entirely up to you. - Thomas.
